Inspired by Tybalt's 'Rapier 9mm Series R' gun in Baz Luhrmann's adaption of Romeo and Juliet..I like guns, I might draw more.

Gypo girl? But she looks so innocent..

slang; 1 A white working class male or female prone to petty crime and antisocial behaviour. A Nuisance. A public menace. A mouthy little cunt. 2 A member of the traveller community who moves onto a public open space and wrecks everything within two square miles. It has been known for the burglary rate in the local area to increase by as much as 2000% when gypos move into the neighbourhood. A gypo may try to gain work by offering to tarmac your drive for £5000. They may also try to sell flowers and/or stolen goods door to door. Occasionally, even if they have not moved into the area, they can be seen driving around in a battered up old Transit van trawling through skips looking for metal that can be 'weighed in'. I played around with a bit of calligraphy and added a doodle of a bag. Pretty much it!

Walk like an Egyptian

I watched the film Alexander the other night (not as good as Gladiator, but hey Jared Leto is in it) and got inspired by a scene towards the end, where Alexander/Colin Farrell wore a lion 'headpiece'. I know this was they wore in Ancient times, most likely to show some kind of masculine dominance or somthin!
So I took this idea and used it for an Ancient Egyptian god named Sekhmet. Sekhmet is depicted as a lioness, the fiercest hunter known to the Egyptians.
So I decided to use her as a new drawing I whacked together in less then an hour...here is the finished piece!

Simple ideas......

Very simplified drawing of a sketch I did late at night. The original was black and white and very rough. I kinda liked the concept of this and gonna use it for another piece (though I'm adding more characters and detail to it next time)
